We have great pleasure in announcing that the brand new Level CD, OPALE is due for release in November, on the revered Japanese minimalist label, Spekk. With an initial release date exclusively in Japan some time in October. This long awaited collection sees Level on top form, and introduces some friends into the mix in the form of ambient drone maestro, Keith Berry, and Jazz pianist Linden Hale.
Opale is steeped in melancholy, and carries with it some of the moods and fragments of the critically acclaimed first release, Cycla. This time, the piano comes to the fore, shored up with organic fragments, and field recordings. This is sure to sell fast, so be sure to pre-order with Spekk, or contact Smallfish in the UK.
